Who will Main Event Wrestlemania?
By: Justin Hopkins
The road to Wrestlemania is well underway, and while only one real match is certain. Can start to see certain rivals that will collide on the biggest stage of them as. On the Smackdown side, you can easily say AJ Styles vs John Cena, Baron Corbin vs Dean Ambrose, as well as Natayla vs Nikki Bella facing off against one another. Raw is a little tricky, since they still have Fastlane coming up, but sort of safe to say, Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman an Jeicho vs Kevin Owens. The question being which match will go on last. Going to rule out Brock Lesnar taking on Goldberg right off the bat. Since Lesnar will probably cost Goldberg the title. Won’t be for any titles. Not a rubber match, because Goldberg is up two wins to nothing, and both of these guys have nothing to gain here. Wouldn’t even be surprised if this ends up being the worst match of the night, and does not deserve to close out the show. Since Kevin Owens is defending his World Title at Fastlanes, they’ll probably save this for Wrestlemania. Coming of the heels of attacking his Best Friend, Chris Jeicho will be coming to exact revenge on his former bestie Kevin Owens. This match had the classic story of friends turned enemies, both having tremendous amounts of talents. Owens being the future and Jericho being a future Hall of fame, but Raw has been hit or miss. Unlike Smackdown who is putting on great shows on a regular basis. However there is one small flaw. Bray Wyatt does not have a clear challenger. Randy Orton won the Royal Rumble, meaning he won the right to face his brands Champion. He’s currently refusing, since as a member of the Wyatt Family, won’t fight his leader. So, they’ll have a Battle Royal to determine the number one contender. Which may very well turn out to be former Wyatt member; Luke Harper. Don’t think for one moment the viper won’t join back in, making it a triple threat match, but they’ll lose two weeks now, which could have been used to start building anticipation. That being said, Bray’s title defense should go on last. Bray has tremendous talent and puts on great matches, same with Luke Harper, and with the veteran Randy Orton being apart of it. This match will steal the show as it is. Might as well do it as the closer.
