AEW All Out Predictions

By: Justin Hopkins

They just had to add another match to an already stacked card. I can’t even complain that much, cause of course I will gladly take a Ruby Soho match. With that said, lets skip the small chat and jump right to it shall we.

Eddie Kingston vs Tomohiro Ishii

Oh what brutal fun this should be. A rematch that should be an excellent watch and that I believe that Eddie should get the win for.

Winner – Eddie Kingston

FTW Championship – Cool Hand Angelo Parker vs Hook (Champion)

This feud has been fantastic, but that isn’t really surprising due to who is involved. Hook aint losing and we still have the Daddy Magic fight to get to.

Winner and still FTW Champion – Hook

AEW All Atlantic Championship – Kip Sabian vs Pac (Champion)

This one is quite difficult to pick from. Pac could maintain. Still early in his reign, but I think it is more important that Kip gets the win here. Been waiting with a box on his head for around a year. This could be the first step in something much bigger for him.

Winner and new All Atlantic Championship – Kip Sabian

AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship – Ruby Soho and Ortiz vs Tay Melo and Sammy Guevara (Champion)

Ruby and Ortiz… Serious, refuse to pick against Ruby.

Winner and new AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions Ruby Soho and Ortiz

House of Black vs Darby Allin, Sting, and Miro

Normally, would be a bad move to go against Sting, but Story wise, Miro can blame them for the loss and continue the story more if his team losses here and continue to build toward the single match against Black.

Winners – House of Black

Ricky Starks vs Powerhouse Hobbs

I can see a non finish happening here. A DQ or time limit draw. Something to build the heat and keep the feud going to a lights out match. For the sake of picking one of them though. Can see Powerhouse getting the win while Ricky putting in a valiant effort.

Winner – Powerhouse Hobbs

Christian vs Jungle Boy

Speaking of lights out potential. This feud had been devastatingly brutal with the war of the words between them. They got it set up perfectly for Luchasaurs to break bad and turn against Jungle Boy.

Winner – Christian

Wardlow and FTR vs Jay Lethal and Motor City Machine Guns

I am really excited for this match. I have always heard about how good Motor City Machine Guns are, but have never actually seen any of their matches before. With FTR on a run of a lifetime this year and Wardlow added to it and I am all here for it.

Winners – Wardlow and FTR

Bryan Danielson Vs Chris Jericho

This should be a fun match. All for the love of Daniel Garcia, but got to go with the American Dragon for the win.

Winner – Bryan Danielson

Casino Ladder Match – Claudio Castagnoli vs Rey Fenix vs Rush Vs Penta El Zero Miedo Dante Martin vs Andrade El Idolo vs Wheeler Yuta vs TBA

This is going to be carnage and I have no idea. None what so ever. TBA could be anyone from Darius to MJF and Eddie Kingston is right there. Perfect to set the main event at Grandslam and how can I pick against Claudio…Fuck it….

Winner – Eddie Kingston

TBS Women’s Championship – Athena vs Jade Cargill (Champion)

So, I am in two mindsets here. Athena poses as a serious threat to Jade’s undefeated streak. Could easily take that belt off Jade and gives Jade the lane to move up the the Women’s Championship. You could keep Jade undefeated, but since Tony is being a Jackass when it comes to giving women more time on the two shows to build more threats, who knows how long it will take to get another threat.

AEW Trios Titles – The Elite vs The Dark Order and Hangman Adam Page

You know what, I am going to take a risky pick here. The Dark Order deserves more love then they have been getting here, and you can tell the story that Kenny just couldn’t shake the ring rust and while I am going about this as if Adam Cole would be ready by Grandslam, it would be a great ammunition for him to use against Kenny to set up the match.

Winners- The Dark Order and Hangman Adam Page

Interim AEW Women’s Championship – Toni Storm vs Jaime Hayter vs Hikaru Shida vs Dr. Britt Baker

This match can teardown the show. Can make a case for any of these four to walk away with the belt. While Toni seems to be the favorite, going to go with Jaime. Think this could be huge for Jaime and can set up a massive feud between her and the Doctor for the gold and if she wins that. You got yourself an even bigger star.

Winner and new Women’s Champion – Jaime Hayter

AEW Championship Match – CM Punk vs Jon Mox (Champion)

Keep saying it and eventually going to be right, right? CM Punk heel turn, off the back of Cleveland booing him when he thought he had reinjured his foot. Only question is if he can pull off the impossible. Austin couldn’t pull off a heel turn in his hometown. Can CM Punk turn heel in Chicago. While still walking away with the belt.

Winner and new AEW Champion – CM Punk

As always, I hope you enjoyed and….

Top ten wrestling matches of 2021

By: Justin Hopkins

It is that time of year, where we sit back and recollect on the past. Thinking about the excellent movies, shows we got to experience over the past 12 month. Which we will soon be getting to, but lets kick the countdowns off right, with the best wrestling matches of the year, and was it no easy feet. In some cases, felt like there was a new candidate nearly every week, especially where a certain Bryan Danielson was involved. Who threatened to take over the entire list by himself. Now, this list will contain matches from AEW, NXT, and WWE, because those were the three I followed most. I promise I will change that next year, cause I just know the like of Impact, NJPW, and so many others put on bangers as well. Just need to make the time to check them out. With that said lets jump right in with…

HONORABLE MENTION

Christian Cage Vs Kenny Omega Impact Championship

This is a compromise to myself. How much I wanted to put this on my top ten list, because I was there for it. Had a fantastic time and this match was so good. Didn’t think for a moment Christian was walking away with the victory either. Figured no way they would have an Impact title change on AEW, but was wrong in the best of ways.

10. Pac vs Orange Cassidy vs Kenny Omega AEW Heavyweight Championship Double or Nothing

At some point, going to stop rolling my eyes when Triple Threat Matches are announced. I am proven wrong nearly every time, and this match blew away every expectations. Three completely personalities and styles and they knocked it out of the park. Knew that Kenny wasn’t losing that belt, but they sucked me in and made a believer that both Pac and Orange had a chance, and that moment where Pac had Orange locked in the Brutalizer and Kenny is kicking him but Pac is laughing off the blows. Forcing a Panicked Omega to take out the Ref to save the match will live on in my head forever.

9. Bianca Belair Vs Sasha Banks Smackdown Women’s Championship Wrestlemania Night 1

For the moment alone, this would have made the list. Two of the best going in WWE today, in Bianca and Sasha. Two of the most deserving women, who have worked so hard to be where they are. Such a feel good moment to see them bath in the Crowd reaction to them Main Event Night 1 of Mania. Then they had a stellar match. Cementing this is the place of history and with Mania going to two nights. will hopefully open the door to more women’s matches in the Main Event Slot.

8. Pete Dunne vs Finn Baylor XXT Championship Vengeance Day

As someone who really likes slow build technical based matches, these two guys ticked all of the boxes. Finn can go against anyone and make something magical and Pete Dunne is fantastic when it comes to working over his opponents, Together they made something magical and I hope Dunne finally gets that belt in 2022.

7. MJF vs Darby Allin Full Gear

I knew this match was going to be good going in, but was not ready for just how good it turned out to be. They opened the show and could make the argument that they had the match of the night. Highlighting both of their strengths and brought out the best in one another. Looking forward to see what happens next, in what I am sure will be a storied rivalry between the two and I am willing to be next time will involve a championship.

6. CM Punk vs Eddie Kingston Full Gear

Now this is how a blood feud is done. Two guys who don’t like each other and wanted to fight. Punk didn’t do his normal routine on the ramp. Eddie starting things off with the spinning back fist and they just went from there. Flipping each other off and went at it till Punk hit the final blow, but even in defeat, Kingston felt so important cause on another night. Could swing his way and with how Kingston’s year went. Think that might be sooner then later.

5. Bryan Danielson vs Kenny Omega Grand slam

This is a match I have been looking forward to, even when this was a pipe dream. Would talk about this with Co-Workers who would wish I would talk about anything else, and was thrilled to see that we were not only getting it, but weren’t wasting time. The match was everything that I wanted. Even knowing they would probably run the time limit draw, was still so entranced by everything they did, and the way they ended it. Suggested this is just an appetizer for things to come.

4. Bryan Danielson vs Hangman Adam Page AEW Heavyweight Championship Winter Is Coming

From a time limit draw we saw coming to one we did not. We get this gem from deep into the year. They had set the match up perfectly going in and Bryan almost toying with Hangman as the match went on. Proving more and more that he is less human and more actual wrestling machine. From someone who never yells at the tv, when it was under a ,minute, I was out of my seat yelling for Hangman to get up. Part 2 can’t get here soon enough.

3. IIja Dragunov vs WALTER NXT U.K Championship NXT Takeover 36

The best match WWE put on this year, was easily, Dragunov vs WALTER 2. These two guys went out there and beat each other like a bongo drum. WALTER being the prominent monster for 800 plus days and IIja being a smaller guy, but refused to being defeated on this day. Returning fire with everything that he got and getting the win by submission felt like a massive feather in the cap for him.

2. Thunder Rosa vs Dr. Britt Baker Unsanctioned Lights Out St. Patrick’s Day Slam

For me, this was monumental. Sure other places have let the Women’s Wrestlers go like this, but I had never seen it. Let alone on National Television like this. They made it feel like a big deal and solidified that Lights out matches will be brutal no matter who will be in them, and Baker and Rosa set the bar incredibly high. The match complimented the rivalry, paving the way for the two of them to go tooth and nail against one another and in the end. Both walked away bigger stars for it and was so close to being my match of the year.

1.Bryan Danielson vs Minoru Suzuki on a buy in for a Rampage on freakin YouTube!

Let that sit in for a moment. This was a dream match on YouTube. A counter to what WWE was trying to do to them. No one would have faulted them for going half speed and taking it easy. Nope, they beat each other within an inch of their lives. So, many moments they went toe to toe, throwing punches and kicks and every time was more exciting then the last. Concern every time Bryan hit the ground like a safe and felt like he only got 9the win, cause for a single moment. Was able to outsmart the murder grandpa. I don’t normally share matches with my non-wrestling friends. Last time was Shield vs Wyatt Family. I shared this one though. They treated a free match on YouTube like it was a Main Event of a Big PPV and will love it forever.

As always, I hope you enjoyed and….

Fantasy Booking the next 4 AEW Heavyweight, Women’s, TNT, TBS and Tag Team Champions

By: Justin Hopkins

So, I have had this idea bumbling about my head since Tony Khan made the comment about knowing who his first 4 Champions were going to be. Now, how true that might be now, is anyone guess, but it is the end of the year. Before we get to the slew of best of this and that posts and videos. Lets have a bit of fun throw away blog and do a bit of fantasy bookings. One important thing I must point out. There is a slew of potential new signings coming in over the next few months and while I will be stretching a bit, but there is one group I am leaving out, and that is the Ring Of Honor group. Now, I know, their is some incredible talent in the group, Johnathon Gresham, Briscoe Brothers, Danhauen, Max The Impaler and so many others could easily make the list, but I have seen so little of ROH and only catch glimpses here and there, so not comfortable booking things I don’t know. So, apologies for leaving them out. Now, lets jump in shall.

TBS Championship

  1. Ruby Soho – The newest belt and the tournament is still going on. The story is right there in a way. Having to go through stronger wrestlers in Statlander, Nyla and finally Jade to get the Championship. Her first major title of her career. A feel good moment to start the new year and can’t ask for more.
  2. Dr. Britt Baker – The former women’s champion who looks down on the fact that she has the TBS Belt, but staunchly defends it because she can’t live without gold. It is a hard story to pull off without the title looking bad, but Britt could make it work.
  3. Jaime Hayter – Whether it be the break up of the group or Jaime working her way back to her former stable leader. Jaime is so talented and this could be the win to highlight a stellar 2022.
  4. Ryo Mizunami – Okay, so this one may be a bit of a stretch. So, many who could take the belt, but Ryo has been doing some great work and her matches are always fun and would like to see her with some gold. Even if it’s not a long run.

Tag Team Championship

  1. FTR – Yeah, but the Tag belts are one of the hardest to predict and want a full powered Pinnacle to face off a reformed Elite. So, them going on a long run just makes the most sense.
  2. Dante Martin and either Lio Rush/Darius Martin – I don’t know when Darius will be back, but this pick is more about getting some gold on Dante. Who is so good and Tag belts are a good first belt for a kid who will have so much more gold in his future.
  3. 2.0 – Yeah, just fun goofballs, who can get some major heat off this, but really, just a transition to….
  4. Proud and Powerful – I almost feel bad for putting it off them this long. Would have no problem with them beating Lucha Bros. or FTR, but when they do finally win the belts. Going to be a great moment.

TNT Championship

  1. Shawn Spears – I love the idea of Shawn and Sammy being eternal rivals. Careers defined by sticking it to one another and trading wins and titles back and forth, in banger matches. Him taking the strap off Sammy would just be another chapter in the story.
  2. Wardlow – That break up of Pinnacle and will test Wardlow the ability to run as a Babyface and carry a title at the same time.
  3. Malachi Black – At the moment, he doesn’t need a belt, but that will change and some gold can help push him further.
  4. Lee Moriarty – By the time we get to this point. Plenty of time to build Lee up and even writing this, could easily move him up the list, but he has such a long future ahead and no reason to rush.

Women’s Championship

  1. Thunder Rosa – This is the only easy pick. The Women’s division needs more time to show off how good it is, but Thunder Rosa winning the belt is just a matter of time.
  2. Serena Deeb – She is just so good. An intimidating heel that spends months twisting babyfaces into pretzels while everyone hates her.
  3. Kris Statlander – The world needs our alien leader, after all.
  4. Leyla Hirsch – While I almost put her on the TBS title side, Leyla is just so good in the ring that I moved her over here. The babyface version of Serena and you know what. Can probably make being a heel work for her.

Heavyweight Championship

  1. MJF – Cause it just makes sense. Biggest heel taking down their ultimate good guy.
  2. Miro – He doesn’t have to be a good guy. He’s the Redeemer who destroys everyone in his path and can make for an excellent champion.
  3. Eddie Kingston – A stellar moment to be had. To see Eddie hold the belt, even if it is only one time. Need to see Eddie have his moment as the man.
  4. Kevin Stein – Is there any man better at stepping on moments and dreams that Owens/Stein. Destroying Kingston the way he did Zayn. Would be so good.

This was such a blast to write and so hard to try and put together. Have such a deep roster. Could easily flip in names like Powerhouse Hobbs, Tay Conti, any of the Dark Order. Not to mention who all they will bring in, but boy is it an exciting time.

As always, I hope you enjoyed and….

Psych 3: This is Gus Movie Review

By: Justin Hopkins

**SPOILER WARNING**

I was absolutely devastated. Psych was one of my favorite shows during its run, and the first two movies were great fun, and I had no idea that this movie dropped till about a week ago. No fault other then my own for not being on the ball, but being that I see so many trailers for movies I don’t want to see. Would have been nice to see one to highlight this one. On the plus, side though, I went into this one truly blind and will always take more Psych in my life. So, lets jump in and discuss how they did the third time around.

Synopsis

The movie kicks off with a media storm outside of the Police Station. Buzz bringing in a suspect, with his lawyer demanding his release. Being stopped by a returning Lassiter, who tells everyone they have the wrong guy, and starts explaining how the real culprit is the lawyer. Being fed the information through an ear piece by Shawn. Who is hiding in a bush nearby with Gus. Everything is going well, until Shawn and Gus get into an argument over food, that Lassiter starts to repeat out loud. After the crowd dissipates, they are taking him back home. Learning he is still in rehabbing and struggling with his recovery. While Gus is preoccupied with preparing for the wedding. Shawn tells him that they can’t keep coming back down here to help him, but he doesn’t take that well. Saying that they are coming for his job and if they don’t come back, they are dead to him. Shawn goes to his Dad to get him to help, but refuses. Saying Lassie is worse than what he wants to admit and all they have done is give him false hope by helping. While he is out helping Gus with errands for the wedding. We learn that Gus is determined to have this wedding before she gives birth, but there is an issue; she hasn’t gotten divorced yet. Shawn starts to pry. Even going to Juliet to try and get her to look her up, but she won’t. Since they agreed to not have any children. Sees her friendship with Selene as her chance to be Godmother and tells him to leave it alone. So, of course, he goes to Chief Vick. Who is fixated on getting her meeting with the press out of the way so she can go on her family camping trip and while she doesn’t out right tell him no. Does so in a way that it didn’t happen if he doesn’t get caught and leaves him alone in her office. While the four are at dinner, Shawn steals her purse, and takes it into the bathroom. Getting an address from indents in her wallet, but is caught by Gus. He tries to explain but a fight ensues. After a lengthy brawl, Shawn convinces him that the two can settle this by just going to talk to her Sister. When they get there the next day, she has no idea who they are and when they argue with her boyfriend. She makes a run for it. Catching up to her when she flips her car. Confessing that she hires her to play her sister, and that Selene isn’t even her real name and he was not the first guy she introduced. Back with Juliet, Selene comes to her office, she found a bunch of stuff in her purse. If they are doing what she thinks they are, then they are in danger and that is where I will leave it for now.

Review

Nobody has lost a step. Says so much on how good everyone is at there roles and how much chemistry they have together. Able to step into their characters like they had never stopped. The jokes, over the top moments, and emotions all hit so well and this movie had them firing on all cylinders.

They did a solid weave this story together. Not the first time they have gone to Gus attracting the wrong person and you really found yourself pulling for him. Hoping that this was all a misunderstanding, so he can have a good ending. While also not dropping the ball when it came to Lassiter. Showing his struggles with recovery and not sure what to do. Building on the emotions he had from Lassie Comes home and made for some of the best parts of the movie.

Along with planting scenes for things to come. With a post credit scene of Allen changing his focus to Gus and Selene in a room full of their picture. Besides the fact that Alan Maldonado was a lot of fun as Alan, but they way they used him. Could prove to be a credit threat to them and like the idea of a recurring threat. Also, I do hope we get to see more time for Vick and see where they are going with her family issues.

And before we end this, I go to talk about the bathroom brawl. It was so over the top and delightful and every time you thought it was over it just kept going and I could watch an entire movie length of that fight.

That is it. No negatives to speak of. Slightly mixed on was I didn’t care to much for the music video, but it is at the end and didn’t take anything away from the film. Have talked about the cast before and they are all wonderful at their characters and just love the fact we keep getting more from this world. Definitely check it out on Peacock. You won’t be disappointed. Final Grade – A +

AEW Full Gear 2021 Predictions

By: Justin Hopkins

My hype for this Paper View has been steadily growing every week. From some excellent matches being made and some promos adding fuel to each of them. A stacked card with some match of the year candidates and a two plus year story of Hangman Adam Page. They have set the stage for Full Gear and I have no idea on several of these matches, but I am going to try my best to put on the booker hat and see f I can predict who walks away with the W. Lets dive in shall we.

Inner Circle vs American Top Team and Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky

So, lets get this one out of the way. I don’t really care to much about this rivalry. Built on cringe promos and would have seen a TNT Championship match. Although am a little excited to see what Junior Dos Santos can do in the ring. Really, just can’t wait for this one to end. Expect Inner Circle to get the last laugh over Lambert to close it out.

Winners – Inner Circle

Christian Cage and Jurassic Express vs Superkliq Falls Count Anywhere

Have we seen Jurassic Express vs The Kliq one too many times? Probably. Am I still excited? Absolutely. They have got so much great chemistry and with the addition of Falls Count Anywhere adds so much potential that they will take full advantage of and I have no real idea who walks away, cause they can really go anyway here, but going to work along the lies of, bad night for The Elite. Just hope this is the last time we see these two teams collide for a little bit.

Winners – Christian Cage and Jurassic Express

Darby Allin vs MJF

Oh the promos have been so nasty from MJF and I love it so much. These two really are two have such a bright future ahead of them and can be a rivalry that carries on for years to come and sure the AEW Heavyweight Championship will be involved down the line. Maybe down the line, the hero walks away victorious, but not on this day.

Winner – MJF

CM Punk vs Eddie Kingston

We knew the promo work between the two of them would have been incredible and they have not only not let us down, but blew it out of the water and made something incredible. The promo they had on Rampage was wonderful and made this a must watch. These two are going to make even more magic in the ring and could make the argument that may be the most anticipated match of the night by the time Saturday gets here. While I would love to see Eddie win this one, think we are saving Punk’s first lost for someone else.

Winner – CM Punk

Bryan Danielson Vs Miro

Before I get into this. I want to give a massive shout to Jon Moxley. From us at SmashWriting we send our support and love his way as he recovers from his addiction and gets healthy.

Miro has been a highlight of AEW this year. From his matches and especially, his promo videos, and now he is on the verge of full out war with his god it has some how gotten even better. Then you got Bryan Danielson. Who seems bent on taking up an entire top ten matches of the year list on his own. These two are going to put on a clinic that could go anyway, but I fear if I don’t pick Miro he will find me.

Winner – Miro

AEW Tag Team Championship Match – FTR vs Lucha Brothers (Champions)

This match is just going to rule. Two of the top Tag Teams in the world. Masters of different styles that blend so well together off the back of the talent of all four of them. With FTR beating them for the AAA Tag Team Championships though and we are still a bit too early into the tag run. Think the Champs are taking this one.

Winner and still Champions – Lucha Brothers

AEW Women’s Championship – Tay Conti vs Dr. Britt Baker (Champion)

So, the build up hasn’t been the best, but not taking anything away from these two women. Going to go out their and put on a clinic. Tay is going to look super strong, but don’t see the D.M.D train ending anytime soon.

AEW Heavyweight Championship Match – Hangman Adam Page vs Kenny Omega (Champion)

The feeling around this match is incredible. Telling the two plus year story of Hangman. Way he came out wanting that belt and the emotional toll it took when he failed. The story of friendship, rock bottom and finding new friends who helped him believe in himself again. I have reviewed movies that didn’t brother to have this much depth and emotion that this story arc has brought us and a reminder of why I love wrestling. At the end of the match, can’t see how Hangman doesn’t get his hand raised at the end, but the real prediction is…will he kick out of the One Winged angel and… I think he does.

Winner and new champion – Hangman Adam Page

Simpsons Treehouse of Horror Season Rankings

By: Justin Hopkins

When I thought about doing this ranking. I was overjoyed. I love The Simpsons. One of my favorite shows of all time, but soon became one of the hardest rankings I have ever had to do. There is just so much. Out of 31 Treehouses each containing three episodes a piece and this became a list of razor thin placements. So, we are going to start quick, but let me point out two things. One I am going to keep things brief to not keep you to long and not going to include pics to avoid the load time lag and constant skips as they load in. Sorry, if that is something you wanted.

31. Treehouse of Horror XXIX

Invasion of the Pod-y People – Multiplisa-ty -Geriatric Park

Oh, I want to like this season, but can’t stand how most of these ended. Which is a shame cause they all have a lot of potential. Especially, the Invasion one, but they each crash and burn. Easily the worst of the bunch.

30. Treehouse of Horror XXII

The Diving bell and Butterball – Dial D for Diddly – In the Na’vi

Dial D for Diddly has it’s moment. Homer using Flanders as a paw and the end where Maud has hooked up with the Devil is great fun, but it’s surrounded by The Diving Bell which is just terrible and In the Na’vi is just there. An alright parody of Avatar, but largely forgettable.

29. Treehouse of Horror XVII

Married to the Blob – You got to know when to Golem – Day the Earth Looked Stupid

The Golem episode pulls this episode down the list. He is just overtly obnoxious to watch and I turn it off when I know it is this one. The other two are better but not worth the trade off.

28. Treehouse of Horror XVI

Wanted: Dead Them Alive – Homerzilla – Telepaths of Glory

It was good seeing Sideshow Bob mix it up in a Treehouse episode. Kind of expect to see him more, outside of the casual opener. Getting the long awaited kill over Bart was a nice touch. Homerzilla and Telepaths weren’t quite on the level, but wanted is the Star and they make alright follow ups.

27. Treehouse of Horror XXX

Danger Things – Heaven Swipes Right – When Hairy Met Slimy

Much like season 30 they don’t quite hit the mark but each do have their moments at least. Especially, Danger Things.

26. Treehouse of Horror XXIV

Oh The Places You’ll Doh – Dead and Shoulders – Freaks No Geeks

This one is kind of strange. Freaks No Geeks and Dead and Shoulders are quite low, but Oh the places, is some great fun and the opener by Guillermo Del Toro is excellent. Got to watch for that alone.

25. Treehouse of Horror XXVIII

The Exorsis – Coralisa – MMM Homer

The animation used in Coralisa looks gorgeous. Reason to check it out alone, but Exorsis has a ton of funny moments and good song, but not as good as the Left Alone Again song in MMM Homer.

24. Treehouse Of Horror XX

Dial M for Murder or Press # to Return to Main Menu – Don’t Have A Cow Mankind – There is No Business Like More Business

Dial M For Murder is a twisted fun take on Hitchcock, while Don’t Have a Cow is a fun Zombie Romp and together have enough power to overcome Moe Business. Was not a fan of the play staging/

23. Treehouse of Horror XV

The Ned Zone – Four Beheadings and a Funeral – In The Belly of The Boss

Honestly, this could be higher on the list. Four Beheadings and The Ned Zone have a lot going on for them. Homer taunting Ned with the gun is spectacular, but like I said. Razor thin between these placements. In the Belly of The Boss holds it back just a little.

22. Treehouse of Horror IX

Hell Toupe – Terror of Tiny Town – Starship Poopers

Terror of Tiny Town wins the medal this season, but Hell Toupe doesn;t make it easy for them. While Starship gives us the great scene of Homer and Kang fighting on the Springer Show.

21. Treehouse of Horror XIX

Untitled Robot Parody – How to Get Ahead in Deadvertising – It’s the Grand Pumpkin, Milhouse

This one has two out of three going for it, but when the two are It’s a Great Pumpkin Milhouse and Deadvertising. You know they did something right.

20. Treehouse of Horror XXVII

Dry Hard – BFFR.I.P – Moefinger

This is another one of the oddballs. Since Moefinger is just alright and Dry Hard is very skippable. BffR.I.P though is an excellent episode. Lisa’s imaginary Friend going on a kill spree and Homer not only being able to see her, but summon Sargent Sausage to save him had me rolling.

19. Treehouse of Horror XVIII

E.T Go Home – Mr. And Mrs. Simpson – Heck House

Go Home was an amazing parody of E.T and Mr. and Mrs. Simpson should be talked about much more. Heck House on the other hand, could have used a bit more time.

18. Treehouse of Horror XXIII

The Greatest Story Ever Holed – Un-natural Activities – Bart and Homer’s Excellent Adventure

Un-Natural Activities is a treat and loved them going back to when Homer and Marge met and mess with the time line.

17. Treehouse of Horror X

I know what you Diddly-Iddlily Did – Desperately Xeeking Xena – Life’s a Glitch, The You Die

The one with Y2K Bug that ends with Homer and Bart killing themselves to escape the worst celebrities and politicians. Can’t say anything bad about that. Along with the always fun I know what you did parody. Could be higher if it wasn’t for Stretch Dude and Clobber Girl Song.

16. Treehouse of Horror XXI

War and Pieces – Master and Cadaver – Tweenlight

We are starting to get into the parts were all three are bangers. War and Pieces speaking to my budding love of Board Games. Along with enjoyable episodes in Master and Cadaver and Tweenlight.

15. Treehouse of Horror VII

The Thing and I – Genius Tub – Citizen Kong

We got some real classic episodes and moments in this season. Genesis Tub is what brings it down a bit in my book. It isn’t bad by any means, just kind of bland for my liking.

14. Treehouse of Horror XXV

School is Hell – Clockwork Yellow – The Others

The Others is so, so great. The idea of that they are being haunted by their past version f themselves is Chief’s Kiss Quality writing. While Clockwork and School is Hell keeps pace perfectly.

13. Treehouse of Horror II

Monkey’s Paw – The Bart Zone – If I Only Had a Brain

We got the second ever Treehouse now. While they are very endearing and hold up well. They just don’t hit as much as they would as the series moved on.

12. Treehouse of Horror XXXI

Toy Gory – Into The Homerverse – Be Nine, Rewind

The newest one, up to this point, and what a breath of fresh air this was. After missing the mark the past few years this one was excellent from top-to-bottom. Had the horrors in Toy Gory. The zany fun in Into the Homerverse, I will never get Princess Homer out of my mind and the clever story of Lisa fighting hard to finally turn nine, with the help of Nelson. Fun times in Season 32.

11. Treehouse of Horror XIV

Reaper Madness – Frinkenstein – Stop the World, I Want to get off

Homer as the Grim Reaper. What more could I possibly say about that. Just great time. Some goofy fun in Stop the world and Frinkenstein was better then it had the right to be.

10. Treehouse of Horror XVI

B.I Bartifical Intelligence – Survival of The Fattest – I’ve Grown a Costume on Your Face

We start the top ten off with one of the best episodes they got in Survival of The Fattest. Funny from start to finish, with Comic Book Guy choosing death over a five minute run speaks to me as a human being. I’ve Grown a costume, is top notch as well and Bartifical Intelligence is a great opener.

9. Treehouse of Horror III

Clown Without Pity – King Homer – Dial Z For Zombie

This did a lot of things right. King Homer being a solid entry. Fun killer doll story in Clown Without Pity, but the real when was Zombie. The lines, ” You killed Zombie Ned.” ” Ned was a zombie?” are lines to live on forever.

8. Treehouse of Horror XIII

Send In The Clones – The Fright To Creep and Scare Harms – Island of Dr. Hibbert

While Fright does drag back a little. The muscle form Send in The Clones and Island of Dr. Hibbert easily carry it to the number 8 spot.

7. Treehouse of Horror XII

Hex in the City – House of The Whacks – Wiz Kids

Pierce Brosnan as a robot house and a Leprechaun. That will about do it.

6. Treehouse of Horror XI

G-G-Ghost D-D-Dad – Scary Stories Can Come True – Night of The Dolphins

Scary Stories did a whole lot of good stuff in a short period of time. Goldilocks being eaten by the three bears was awesome, but Homer coming through the Ginger Bread wall is so funny. Then you had another classic in Night of The Dolphins and Nelsen getting ghost Homer in a headlock. Season 12 delivered big time.

5. Treehouse of Horror V

The Shinning – Time and Punishment – Nightmare Cafeteria

This is an All-Time classic edition, with a running thread of Willie being knocked off in each episode. Homer try to fix the broken timeline made for some crazy threads, including one world which would have been his dream had he stuck around for one more second.

4. Treehouse of Horror

Bad Dream House – Hungry Are The Damned – The Raven

The very first one, and may not be the most zany, but definitely holds a special place in my heart. Particularly, The Raven. Just a good little episode and with the rest. Got the series off to a hot start.

3. Treehouse Of Horror XVIII

The Homega Man – Fly vs Fly – Easy Bake Coven

I have to be a Groom’s man soon and I will spend the entire time snickering at the thought of naked Homer dancing in the church. We got fly Bart, Birth of Trick or treating and death of the Fix Censor. Treehouse knocked it out of the park.

2. Treehouse of Horror VI

Attack of The Fifty Foot Eye Sores – Nightmare on Evergreen Terrace – Homer³

This was so hard and honest flip flopped with the number one spot numerous times. I adore this episode. Willie as Freddy is epic and Homer³ looks gorgeous and attacking Lard Lad, but alas, couldn’t keep pace with number 1.

1.Treehouse of Horror IV

The Devil – Terror at 5 1/2 Feet – Bart Simpson’s Dracula

Because it is everything that I love about this silly tradition. Bart telling Otto that a Gremlin is on the side of the bus, to see Moleman driving a Gremlin. Flanders being The Devil. The Super Fun Happy Slide, that Bart just had to pull on even though he was going to rid it to his grave. All of the fun, great memories that came from this season and the very best of the bunch.

Summerslam 2021 Predictions

By: Justin Hopkins

The wrestling will be good. See, I knew I’d find the positive. The one thing that has been saving the WWE is that the wrestlers are incredible in between the ropes. Able to carry the lackluster booking that is surrounding this card. Only thing that will get me to tune in Friday is that at least the matches will be enjoyable and that is the sad part. Some of these matches are going to be big but they are capable of so much better stories and ideas to sink your teeth into, and some of them are just a few tweaks away. Lets put on the tin foil hat and I’ll try to predict and explain what I mean.

Eva Marie vs Alexa Bliss

Like this for example. If they dropped the doll and hypnotizing stuff. Let Alexa keep doing what she is in the Playground, but a brutal force in the ring. To the point where she goes almost to far in the way she goes in the ring. Doesn’t even try to pin or submit her opponents. Just keeps attacking till they are out cold and you got something to build on. No, we got it tied around a doll. Don’t even know if Eva will fight and it’ll be Doudrop and way more stupid stuff, and I normally like when the horror aspects blend, but this isn’t working. Going to go with Bliss for the win in the hope we can get Bliss to move on to something else.

Winner – Alexa Bliss

Drew McIntyre vs Jinder Mahal

Out of all of the history they could have told. This started over a text message and turned into fighting over a sword. A sword that Drew can’t use anyways. Please don’t have him use the sword. They had to learn something from the eyeball thing. Going to go with Drew to win and feud will probably continue.

Winner – Drew McIntyre

Edge vs Seth Rollins

This feud has been alright. They are playing off when Seth attacked Edge during retirement. Comparing their careers has been interesting. As much as I would like to pick Edge. If they are going to start tilting Seth toward Roman. He needs to pick up some wins.

Winner – Seth Rollins

U.S Championship Match Damien Priest vs Sheamus (Champion)

Sheamus has been having a great year. His matches against Humberto got real repetitive real fast, but he had some of the years best. His promos the last few weeks though have been rough. I am glad to see them using Priest more, please get him away from Miz and Morrison, especially since I am picking him to walkout as the new U.S Champion. Him being the champ this time is no excuse for more matches.

Winner and New United States Champion – Damien Priest

Raw Tag Team Championship Match – RK-Bro vs AJ Styles and Omos (Champions)

This has been probably the best built match on the card. About fifty percent great and fifty percent cringe, but that is my take on Riddle in general. AJ and Omos have been great antagonist to them and the fact that they kind of brought them on themselves. All they had to do was not interrupt them and just let Orton walkaway. Only thing I would have done was hold off on the hug and let it happen after they win the belts.

Winners and new Raw Tag Team Champions – RK-Bro

Smackdown Tag Team Championship Match – The Mysterios vs The Usos (Champion)

What am I suppose to say about this match. We have seen it. Seen the single matches and this will just be here. Should have at least made it a multi team match. Add the Street Profits and Alpha Academy so we can get something else.

Winner and still Smackdown Tag Team Champions – The Usos

RAW Women’s Championship match – Charlotte Flair vs Rhea Ripley vs Nikki Cross (Champion)

They did this story backward. Nikki (No I will not call her ASH, the name gets worse the more you think about it) could have worked it to where she doesn’t back down. She pushes her opponents, who are not Charlotte or Rhea, to the absolute brink time and time again losing by the littlest reasons, but she believes she can. So much so, she announces she will use her Money in the Bank contract to make it a Triple Threat at Summerslam and finally win. Making the journey to full Superhero. No, they put the belt on her right after Money in the bank. had the champion say, I almost won, and a series of wins and losses, to make it so none of these three can possibly look good in the process and why is this a triple threat with Charlotte and Rhea! You have Shayna Baszler right there. One of your best heels on the roster, who could beat Nikki down repeatedly and build sympathy for her. While letting Shayna rehab her character back to being a killer. As far as the Triple Threat goes… I don’t know…Rhea. Sure why not.

Winner and new Raw Women’s Champion – Rhea Ripley

Smackdown Women’s Championship – Sasha Banks vs Bianca Belair (Champion)

This will be a great match between two who smashed it at Mania. If given the time, they can easily be match of the night again and I think the results will be the same with Bianca retaining.

Winner and still Smackdown Women’s Champion – Bianca Belair

WWE Championship Match – Goldberg vs Bobby Lashley (Champion)

I am kind of scared because of how much his kid has been on. We might see a Goldberg victory here, but I am going to cross my fingers and hope for the best.

Winner and still WWE Champion – Bobby Lashley

Universal Championship Match – John Cena vs Roman Reigns (Champion)

I was okay with this. I knew it would happen. The promos went just about how I expected them to go, but they lost me with one thing. By teasing Finn Balor. I would so much rather have Balor and Roman. Seems so much more exciting then this. Yeah, it was a tease for later, but could have had Balor at least interrupt the 30 minute promo last week. To keep the pressure on Roman and his anger over the situation. With that ramble out of the way. I don’t see a title change happening here. Cena is here to help build Roman that much more and that comes with him losing.

Winner and still Universal Champion – Roman Reigns

Yeah, this was more irritable then normal. Like I said, the wrestling will be good. Just wish they put more into their stories and builds. As always, I hope you enjoyed and….

Money In The Bank 2021 Predictions

By: Justin Hopkins

Behind the Royal Rumble, the Money In The Bank has grown rapidly as one of the most exciting times of the year for the WWE. For good reason, the briefcase adds a level of excitement and unpredictability when the briefcases are in play. Well, for the most part. Some have been questionable but that is besides the point. With this being the first major crowd back, since Mania. I am expecting the wrestlers to go all out and that can only make these matches that much better and hopefully jumpstart WWE a bit more going forward. Lets put on the tin foil hat and try to predict some of these matches.

Raw Tag Team Championship Match – The Viking Raiders vs AJ Styles and Omos (Champions)

This feud has been alright. Could have been a better, but this match could be a fun little match with the Raiders trying to figure out a way to handle Omos and I kind of expect them to be successful to a point, but I don’t expect a title to change here. Not when there is a bigger match on the horizon.

Winners and still Raw Tag Team Champions – Aj Styles and Omos

Raw Women’s Championship Match – Charlotte Flair vs Rhea Ripley (Champion)

The temptation to just put for periods, pick Rhea to retain and moving on is strong. Seriously, they have to start pushing more women on Raw.

Winner and still Raw Women’s Champion – Rhea Ripley

WWE Championship Match – Kofi Kingston vs Bobby Lashley (Champion)

This match is going to be a lot of fun. Especially following Bobby’s outburst at the end of the wall. Kofi is perfect to bounce off the powerhouse of Bobby and they can make some real magic happen, but since a later prediction ties into this one, will have to pick Bobby to take the W here.

Winner and still WWE Champion – Bobby Lashley

Universal Championship Match – Edge vs Roman Reigns (Champion)

Yeah, as much as I would love to see the Rated R Superstar take the belt off the Head of the Table, but Roman is the biggest story going and it isn’t coming to an end now.

Winner and still Universal Champion – Roman Reigns

Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match – Kevin Owens vs Drew McIntyre vs Riddle vs Ricochet vs John Morrison vs Big E vs Shinsuke Nakamura vs Seth Rollins

This match is just going to be mad. while I do wish that Cesaro would have been apart of this. The guys in here are going to go crazy and let it all fly. Morrison and Ricochet are going to do stupid stunts off the ladder. Same with probably Owens. Drew and Big E going to be the powerhouse chucking people and ladders around and Riddle is a wild card on what to expect from him. When the match has concluded I think there can only be one winner that makes sense and we get a reunited New Day out of it.

Winner – Big E

Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match – Nikki Cross vs Asuka vs Naomi vs Alexa Bliss vs Natalya vs Liv Morgan vs TBD

I almost have no idea who can walk away with this one. Asuka would be nice. Give her the chance with the case that she didn’t get last year Nikki Cross (I know it’s ASH but no. Superhero is one word so ASH does not work) could really use the win. At the same time she can ride the momentum she’s got to ride into a title match. Liv really needs it as well, but then you got the TBD and speculation is going wild on who it can be. Coin toss and the TBD can really throw a wrench into my pick but going to still with Liv as the one walking away with the case.

Winner – Liv Morgan

As always, I hope you enjoyed and….

Castlevania Season 4 Review

By: Justin Hopkins

**SPOILER WARNING**

Well, I am certainly not ready to say goodbye. As much as I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to Supernatural last year. It is even more so now. It doesn’t feel like we have had enough time to have this show. Feels like not that long ago, when it clawed its way into my heart in blood soaked monsters and excellent character work. So, much more I want to see. Adventures I want to see them go on, but time to stop putting it off. With a heavy heart, lets talk about the final season.

Synopsis

Normally, I would break down the start of the show and trail off, but with so many parts, we will stick to what everyone is doing throughout and it makes all the sense in the world to start with Belmont and Sypha. Who kicks things off with a time lapse of the past six weeks. Showing them having constant fights with monsters, some of which are trying to resurrect Dracula or appease Death itself to bring him back. Worn out and taking its toil on them. Their trail leading them back to where it all began, Targoviste. A place where survivors are struggling to survive, a Royal Guard named Zamfir, who claims that the Royal Family is still alive, in an underground stronghold, but won’t take them back till she trusts them. Leaving them to wonder what is going on and why the monsters are still gathering in the ruined village. Who are being lead by Varney and Ratko. Varney, a loud mouth, who was an original member of Dracula’s Court, who will not let you forget about how important he is. Wanting to bring back Dracula, and is working with several others, such as Saint Germain. Who returned six weeks prior, after failing to find his love in the Infinite Corridor. Due to not being able to control the flow. Running into an Alchemist. Who tells him what to do. He needs to make something called a Rebis. Something that requires him to combine two souls into one, which requires sacrifice, and he chooses that to be the people of Danesti A town that has reached out to Alucard for help tp fend off the monsters. Who has been busy adding bodies to his collection in his front yard. Who agrees after a speech from the headwoman, Greta. Agreeing it would be safer to defend them at his castle, after a suggestion from Saint Germain. Being told he needed the exact spot he died, from his other partner, Hector. Who is still ensnared by Lenore, but can’t build them a night creature army, till he crafts a new hammer which he is stalling on. Which builds up tension between Carmilla who sees through this, but Lenore believes in her spell, but also, is becoming disillusioned by this plan. Seeing her rule as a Diplomat being wiped out by where this all leads, and it isn’t just her, but Morana and Striga, who are out in the battlefield, are feeling it too. Especially after a group of villagers tried in vain to fight back. Striga deals with it, but sees it first hand. That this will never be over. She would be constantly fighting and never see Morana. Little did they know, Carmilla has been working on a plan far greater than they thought. She is making plans to take the world. Then, there is Isaac. Who is starting to go through a change. Still wanting to lead the charge against Carmilla, but thinking about what kind of world he will leave behind. Having his night creatures rebuilding the village and burying the deceased he can’t reanimate as he thinks it over and that is where I will leave it for now.

Review

I am going to miss how well they treat characters. From how good they are at building up new characters like, Zamfir, who you feel so much for. That she couldn’t handle the pain of what happened. Scarred by what she saw that day and couldn’t face the fact that the Royals were gone and was grasping at whatever straws she had and was sad to see her die. Varney was built perfectly. Loudmouth that you wanted to see get their comeuppance. Hiding the twist perfectly. Had characters like Morana and Striga getting fulfilling story, along with an awesome fight scene with Striga sporting Day Armor. Had characters like Isaac, whop had a compelling story of him growing as an individual. Letting go of his rage and finding purpose in his life. Alucard finding a place in his world, and even the villagers are doing stuff in the background. Fighting back, being more than just cannon fodder. Warren Elis and all the writers did a fantastic job on the show, and the final season was no exception.

Titus Welliver did wonderful as the menacing, powerhouse Ratko. Toks Olagundoye breathed so much life into Zamfir. Marsha Thomason and Christine Adams were spot on as Greta and The Alchemist, and of course Malcom McDowell as both Varney and Death. Who did them both justice. Made Varney the despicable worm that you wanted to see smashed and the gravity and boss level threat Death is. It goes without saying that they likes of Richard Armitage. Alejandra Reynoso, and James Callis killed it as the voice acting for Belmont, Sypha and Alucard. Adetokumboh M’Cormack id great as Isaac. Along with the likes of Bill Nighy, Jessica Brown Findlay, Yasmine Al Massri, Ivana Milicevic and Jaime Murray all returning as Saint Germain, Lenore, Morana, Striga and Carmilla who knocked it out of the park and so many more who made this show awesome.

The art style and animation all looked great. From beautiful shots of scenery and backdrops, to the bloody and gore. The fights scenes were tremendous and well done. Especially, toward the end. When the fighting started and the gradual intensity of all of all of the fights, until the gorgeous fight between the fight between Belmont and Death.

Now, lets talk about the ending and what a wild ending it was. It was a twist when Varney revealed himself as the Alchemist and mind blowing when they revealed to be Death all this time. Just throwing everything about what I thought was happening up in the air and I loved it. Played to perfection and came out of nowhere. Just perfect. I didn’t mind the fact they kept Belmont alive. Wanted to see a happy ending for them, and if they weren’t killing Hector, they can’t take Belmont. Having the scene outside the castle, where they were going to build a new village felt like the right end. Where people can rebuild and move on from here.

A bit of a mixed one, is that I think we could have got a bit more with Carmilla. I liked the story they got, but feel they could have had a bit more love to it. Even just a scene of two with Carmilla, Lenore, and Hector to help build the tension between them.

One negative, the last few minutes should not have been with the resurrected Dracula and Lisa. First, they really didn’t need to be brought back and really didn’t do anything for me that they were. They should have cut to black with the main group outside of the castle.

And that brings us to the end of the review. Still not ready to say goodbye. Season 4, the final season, delivered an amazing finale for a show that I love. They gave each character a fitting ending, from major to minor, and had some great animations, performances. Carnage candy and fun fight scenes. Everything one would think when going into a show called Castlevania. Final Grade – S

Wrestlemania Backlash 2021 Predictions

By: Justin Hopkins

The name of this PPV makes me not want to watch. I like to try and find the pros and not really like to dwell on negative, but this is pretty much a one match card. The wrestling should be good, because these wrestlers are some of the best that has ever been in the company, but the booking has just been dreadful and that is the sad part. This could all be so much better if they put forth the slightest of effort and not been pumping out some of the worst episodes of Raw. Enough wallowing, lets jump in and try to Predict to the best of my ability.

Damian Priest vs The Miz Lumberjack Match

We kick things off with the rivalry that just won’t die. Hopefully this will be the end, with what I expect will also be the end of the team of The Miz and John Morrison. Priest can get the win and move on to something better.

Winner – Damian Priest

Smackdown Tag Team Championship Match – Dominik and Rey Mysterio vs The Dirty Dogs (Champions)

Now, I have enjoyed The Dirty Dogs as Tag Team Champions. Dolph And Roode have got really got chemistry together as a team. It is unfortunate that they haven’t gotten to defend those belts many times since they won them and I believe this has been their first defense on PPV. Doubly so since I don’t think they are retaining them here. It’ll be a good match but at the end, think we are looking at the first Father and Son Tag Team Champions.

Winner and New Smackdown Tag Team Champions – Dominik and Rey Mysterio

Smackdown Women’s Championship Match – Bayley vs Bianca (Champion)

This will be a great match if given the time. Both of these women are just uber talented in the ring. Wish they would have booked Bayley to be more of a threat. The shape of the Smackdown Women’s Division though. It was either Bayley or Sasha. Since Carmella has just been brought back last week, same with Ruby and Liv. So, yeah, Bayley is really the best option. See what I mean about the booking. Anyways, we aren’t seeing a loss here. Bianca is just getting going.

Winner and still Smackdown Women’s Champion – Bianca Belair

Raw Women’s Championship Match – Asuka vs Charlotte Flair vs Rhea Ripley (Champion)

There are not enough obscenities to describe how much I hate this match. I am not talking about it. Just make Rhea a world ending babyface. Charlotte should be rivaling with Alexa. Give Sonya Deville, Nikki Cross to work with. Let Nikki just destroy the Women’s Roster while Sonya slides it under the rug. Spinning her path of destruction as a way to show Pearce can’t control the locker room to usurp power, and build Nikki up in the process to face Rhea at Summerslam, and stop making Asuka look bad.

Winner and still Raw Women’s Champion – Rhea Ripley

WWE Championship Triple Threat Match – Braun Strowman vs Drew McIntyre vs Bobby Lashley (Champion)

I enjoy the fact that MVP has been talking about the fact Bobby lost his U.S Title in a triple Threat when he wasn’t involved in the finish. MVP has really been an amazing manager in all of this. Of course it’ll be a good match, but it is still way to early for the belt to come off the Almighty One.

Winner and still WWE Championship Match – Bobby Lashley

Universal Championship Match – Cesaro vs Roman Reigns (Champion)

My head tells me that he doesn’t have a chance. That my only hope to see what I want, is he gets cheated out of the win. To go on and win Money In The Bank and use it to demand the rematch and then win the strap in front of a crowd, but I can’t bring myself to go against The Swiss Superman. The only thing keeping me going in WWE, this year, has been the fact Cesaro has been getting the push he so, so deserves, and even if it tanks a pick. I am going for it.

Winner and New Universal Champion – Cesaro

Sorry for being more negative, but I hope you enjoyed and as always….

Thank You For Reading.
